Participate in the internal kick-off meeting organized by the tender and find agreements for pending points.
Fill in the 'Project acceptance form' after verifying the handing over documents from tendering.
Contact vendors inside and outside Schneider for nonstandard components/services whenever required.
Process and follow up on orders pertaining to the project which are placed internally/externally.
Plan together with the field FSR team manager for site execution – Installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, retrofitting, etc.
Responsible for the HSE plan for his/her projects (PPE, Risk assessment, training...)
Follow the project planning and take immediate actions in case of deviation.
Define project tasks and resource requirements.
Manage the customer's change requests and inform them of the cost and delivery time impacts.
Plan and schedule project timelines.
Ensure the liaison with our back offices, design team, services & sales team whenever needed toward the project targets.
Present reports defining the project progress, problems, and solutions.
Conduct project evaluations and assess the margin level of the projects.
Forecast the revenue and invoicing date (according to the payment terms).
Ensure payment from the customer (Overdue) and alert in case of difficulties.
Fill the NPS information file when the project is finished.
Organize an internal 'End of project meeting' with concerned people to share the successes and/or difficulties met during the project and take corrective actions if any.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of electrical engineering.
Not less than 3 years’ experience in management & project management of MV/LV equipment and packages.
PMP certification.
Motivated, self-starter who is prepared to do things himself as well as work through his team.
Knowledge in MV/LV equipment and protection schemes.
Knowledge of ranges of Schneider Electric obsolete and existing LV and MV spare parts, products, and equipment will be a significant plus.
Knowledge of competitors' ranges of products/equipment would be a plus.
Previous experience in retrofitting of circuit breakers and protection relays would be a plus.
Gulf experience would be a plus – knowledge of local specifications and rules in Oil & Gas plus Public Utilities.
Good knowledge/experience in commercial and finance terms/risks.
Good knowledge/experience in planning and logistics terms/aspects.
Fluency in English. Arabic and French would be a plus.
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office and Tendering Tools.
Knowledge of ERP systems would be a plus.
Able to work under pressure and innovate to achieve objectives.
Technically strong with a good commercial approach.
Ability to travel from time to time across Gulf Countries as well as internationally.
Knowledge or experience of the following, while not a current requirement of the job, would be a plus: Variable Speed Drives, Programmable Controllers, SCADA, Building Management Systems, Power Quality systems.
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Knowledge in risk and insurance management.
