Project Manager - Security Systems

What You Will Do

The Project Manager ELV Systems is a key role directly reporting to the Director of Install Operations. You will be based in Dubai and will be a part of a growing team responsible for driving the growth of business for Security Systems.

You will be managing the project management team on designing and executing projects. You will need to monitor the assigned engineering projects, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.

How You Will Do It

As an experienced Project Manager, you should have expertise in project executions and complex knowledge of designing security systems solutions involving Access control/CCTV, Data LAN, PAVA and other LV systems in the Middle East region. You have to:

1. Initiate and respond to contractual issues throughout the contract & project phase.
2. Monitor project progress and prepare project progress reports and represent the company in client project, quality, and HSE meetings.
3. Be responsible for formal (letter)/informal (verbal) communication with clients and for invoicing processing and collection of payments from clients.
4. Prepare technical submittals and submit to clients and be responsible for the production and issuance of design drawings/calculations.
5. Prepare and comply with the project quality plan and inspection & test plans and ensure full compliance of the project with specifications and client requirements.
6. Assume full responsibility for cost management of the projects, prepare and submit monthly cost reports to senior management for review.
7. Initiate change processes to manage variations to the contract and follow the project to completion to ensure final payment.
8. Ensure key milestone dates are met; if delays occur, develop a plan to bring the project back on track.
9. Manage all allocated staff and resources to complete the project on time and be responsible for requests for resources within the budgeted allowance.
10. Develop and train allocated staff.
11. Be conversant with company and client QHSE policies/procedures and ensure that operatives understand and implement them in their responsible areas.
12. Liaise with QA/QC and HSE managers on all aspects of Quality and HSE.
13. Prepare and submit project completion feedback reports to the sales department.
14. Monitor the progress of sub-contracted works, wherever applicable, and ensure all applicable QHSE documents are available at the point of use, particularly project-specific QHSE documents are available at the site.
15. Ensure complete project data/records are archived after completion of the project and are forwarded to the IS department for effective archiving.
16. Ensure non-conformities in materials/products are dealt with in accordance with applicable management system procedures and appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken to prevent recurrence/occurrence of non-conformities.
17. Ensure needed inspections and tests of products are performed, and inspection & test records are maintained prior to product handover to customers.

Required

What we look for

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Similar Discipline from a reputable university.
2. Minimum of 8-10 years of project engineering experience in the execution of low voltage security systems.
3. Recent experience of working at a leadership level in the GCC region.
4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
5. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
6. Good interpersonal, negotiation, labor management, and influencing skills.
7. Clear understanding of Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA).
8. Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost-effective solutions.
9. Proven ability to produce high-quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use.
10. Fluency in the English language is essential and excellent mail etiquette.
11. Decision-making skills.
