Project Manager POS (12-month contract)

To plan and manage the POS rollout that also has ERP integrations. This position will partner with teams from the business, finance, and information technology. This position will involve managing a project plan, a budget, project risks, and also a project team.

A programme manager will oversee the project management lifecycle process. The POS Project Manager must develop a plan of action to get the project delivered working closely with the POS Partner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide project management for POS rollout ready to deliver the new ERP solution.
• Provide weekly status reporting.
• Manage the performance of Field Engineers focusing on retail on-ground rollout.
• Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs.
• Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers.
• Manage project risks and issues and maintain project documentation.
• Provide feedback, advice, project updates, and encouragement to team members.
• Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
• Manage the performance and delivery of the multiple field engineers that will be involved in the delivery of the project.
• Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly.
• Engage and manage stakeholders, particularly focusing on impacted stakeholders and contributing vendors, maintaining effective relationships and maintaining alignment with project objectives.

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years of project/program management, with at least 4 years of experience in complex SAP ERP transformations, cloud SaaS implementations with integrations to multiple in-house and external systems.
• Previous experience in a project management role / implemented ERP SaaS solution across a multi-industry organization, across POS.
• Proven experience as a Program Manager PgMP and PMP (or similar) certifications would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Oracle xStore POS implementation.
