The MEP Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of MEP projects including HVAC, Fire Protection, Lighting, Small Power, ELV systems, Plumbing and Drainage installations of Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Buildings, ensuring the projects are completed on time, within the allocated budget, by meeting required quality standards and client satisfaction.

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of MEP projects including HVAC, Fire Protection, Lighting, Small Power, ELV systems, Plumbing and Drainage installations of Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Buildings, ensuring the projects are completed on time, within the allocated budget, by meeting required quality standards and client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall strategic planning of the project to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee project performance regarding time, cost, HSE, and ensure timely delivery by meeting quality standards.
- Establish necessary contractual correspondence with clients on delays and cost impacts.
- Direct or coordinate with suppliers and contractors for design and manufacturing activities.
- Participate in negotiations for contract finalization with project stakeholders.
- Assist, review, and coordinate the creation, submission, and clearance of invoices and monitor budget and project cash flow.
- Direct or coordinate engineering, safety, facilities, and production personnel to ensure timely delivery in compliance with specifications.
- Supervise and assign duties to site managers/supervisors/technicians engaged in technical installation and commissioning.
- Prepare estimates for management for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
- Generate and update project progress reports, planned value, invoice projection, and cash flow projection.
- Track project schedules and prepare and submit weekly progress reports to clients, project managers, and internal teams.
- Inspect workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Work with site managers, design managers, commissioning managers, HSE officers, site engineers, and technicians to ensure a high-performance, service-oriented work environment that supports achieving company objectives.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- PMI - PMP Certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in managing MEP projects for residential and commercial towers and industrial buildings.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing MEP projects in UAE or other GCC countries.
- ESCO industry experience preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and authority regulations.
