Project Manager IT Solutions Web Design Applications

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects in IT solutions web design and application development. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the project management methodologies, excellent organizational skills, and the technical expertise to manage multiple IT-focused projects. This role involves coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

1. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
2. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, adjusting as needed to ensure project success.
3. Allocate resources effectively, monitor progress, and manage project dependencies.
4. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project status, risks, and updates.
5. Schedule regular client meetings, provide status reports, and ensure client satisfaction with project outcomes.
6. Manage client expectations and address any concerns or changes in project scope.
7. Lead and support cross-functional project teams including developers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders.
8. Foster a collaborative environment, providing guidance, resolving conflicts, and promoting teamwork.
9. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
10. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with client expectations.
11. Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues as they arise.
12. Perform regular testing, reviews, and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.
13. Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
14. Prepare and present budget reports, justifying any variances and ensuring cost efficiency.
15. Forecast resource needs and make adjustments to meet project timelines and budgets.
16. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, progress reports, and meeting notes.
17. Prepare project reports for management and stakeholders outlining project achievements and lessons learned.
18. Document and implement best practices for future projects.

Requirements

1. 3 years of experience managing IT projects, especially in web design, application development, or software solutions.
2. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and agile methodologies.
3. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, web design principles, and application development processes.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
5. PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
