Project Manager - Dubai (Ref#067)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Manager is responsible for one or more projects executed in Dubai, UAE and/or support projects being executed by entities in Dubai, UAE. This client designs, produces, and maintains complex lifting and handling systems and solutions in operational condition. For highly technical installations at the heart of customer processes in markets such as: aeronautic, aluminium, defence, nuclear, offshore energy & marine, and industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary responsibility – Project Controlling Function
  • Project P&L, invoicing, cash flow, collection
  • Evaluation and risk mitigation of a project delivery, supply and other functions in Country specific financial matters
  • Taxation and compliances for project
• Support sales and procurement team and other stakeholder functions relevant to project
• Monitor customer risk, supplier risk in the Country
• Final responsibility for correctness of project P&L
• Providing expertise on local regulations to Global team and supporting them by acting as a key contact point with local issues if any
• Handling project related budgeting responsibility

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and PMP Certification is mandatory.
• Experience as a Project Manager for minimum 12-18 years. ISO certification related knowledge is an added advantage.
• Key Skills:
  • Good Communication skills
  • Good Negotiation and Conflict management skills
  • Metals Mining Background will be preferred
  • BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization
  • Good exposure in internal and external stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of invoicing, project related taxes and compliances is a must
• Languages: Proficient written and spoken English skills
