Objective: Project manage field service activities on heavy duty GE gas turbines Frame 3, 5, 6, 6FA, 7/9E and 7/9FA for our customers including being a single point of contact to the customers at their plants for all aspects of outage service work, including budgeting, planning, scheduling, coordination of internal and external resources, process development, and alignment with the technical advisor for site execution.
At hand-over from Sales/Commercial department, together and in commitment with the project team, review final contract document and confirm agreement on deliverables. Assumes full responsibility for the delivery of the allocated project(s) scope, from hand over from Sales until all obligations are complete. Takes necessary actions to improve the project process. Also provides feedback to Sales and other Business Functions on the performance of the Project and processes.
Prepare, maintain and execute the Project (Execution) Plan and Quality Plan (if applicable) including Risk Assessment and share with the project team and in close alignment with the appropriate business unit if applicable.
Develops and secures the necessary resources for the execution of the project. Organizes the project team and ensures that the team members have clearly identified roles, responsibilities, defined interfaces and are empowered within their scope of duties. Constantly monitors and reports the necessary key performances indicators (KPI). Takes immediately all necessary actions and decisions to guarantee financial, time, quality and safety performance to maximize the allocated project(s) scope's goals achievements.
Constantly updates and reviews the risk and opportunities of the Project. Evaluates and decides on actions that benefit the overall performance of the Project. Follows-up these actions, implementation and results.
Ensure regular reporting of the project status to management and to the customer. Develops and monitors the Master Time Schedule, manages Project float to ensure timely completion of the Project.
Initiate and execute claim management towards customers if necessary. Initiate and support claim management towards suppliers if possible and monitor status with procurement.
Ensure continuous improvement of the company by proper reporting and follow up of any non-conformity like deviation and/or customer complaint including close out of the project with lessons learnt and share the outcome with the project team.
Review customer technical requirements and align with engineering and tender teams on scope and manpower requirements. Occasionally prepare, submit and follow-up on quotations related to the Companies product and service portfolio focusing on local area needs. Define and establish a local supply chain to support the area local activities requirements.
