Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Cognos upgrade to IBM Analytics and Confluent Implementation initiatives in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing BI/Analytics projects and data streaming platforms, ensuring successful delivery while working with cross-functional teams. This is an onsite, long-term opportunity with a global leader in technology consulting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the end-to-end Cognos upgrade to IBM Analytics and Confluent implementation.
2. Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
3. Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors for seamless project execution.
4. Oversee data migration, system integration, and performance optimization.
5. Ensure risk management, compliance, and security standards are met during project execution.
6. Manage and resolve project issues, dependencies, and roadblocks proactively.
7. Facilitate training and change management initiatives for end users.
8. Monitor and report project progress, KPIs, and deliverables to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in project management with expertise in BI/Analytics and Data Streaming platforms.
2. Proven experience in IBM Cognos upgrade, IBM Analytics, and Confluent Kafka implementation.
3. Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and real-time data streaming.
4. Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or PMP methodologies.
5. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to manage complex IT projects.

Preferred Qualifications

1. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications.
2. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
3. Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
