Project Manager / Civil Engineer

Summary:

A Project Manager is a professional responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within an organization. They are tasked with ensuring that projects are completed successfully, on time, within budget, and in line with the project's objectives and scope.

Responsibilities include:

1. Planning and conducting independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
2. Devising new approaches to problems, and preparing or modifying drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs.
3. Monitoring work for compliance with applicable codes, accepted engineering, and IGO standards.

Qualifications for a Project Manager job may include:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are often preferred or required.
• Proven experience as a project manager, demonstrating successful project delivery.
