The Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering complex projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires the ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and mitigate risks.
The Project Manager will drive project success by maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, overseeing project planning, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The position demands a strong ability to solve problems, prioritize tasks, and deliver results, ensuring that the project aligns with the overall business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) integrated with Oracle EBS.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and in line with the allocated budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage project scope, ensuring all objectives are clearly defined and met on time and within budget.
- Resolve project issues and risks promptly, maintaining project momentum and ensuring project success.
- Manage and coordinate activities between the Implementation team and Oracle Partner, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including senior management, business units, IT teams, and Oracle Partner representatives.
- Coordinate testing activities with both the Project team, ensuring that all system functionalities are thoroughly tested, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure comprehensive project documentation is maintained, including project plans, system configurations, test cases, training materials, and user manuals.
- Prepare detailed progress reports and presentations for senior leadership, documenting project achievements, challenges, risks, and post-implementation performance.
- Provide lessons learned and recommendations for future system improvements or projects.
Knowledge Management
- Transfer knowledge by sharing documents and learnings with the IT delivery teams.
- Provide guidance, technical leadership, and training to less experienced staff.
- Pursue and complete professional courses and certifications.
Education and Professional Qualifications/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering.
- Master in IT is a plus.
- Certifications on standard Enterprise Applications (Oracle E-Business Suite) are desirable.
- Certifications in project management (PMP/Prince2/Agile/SAFe), Enterprise Architecture, and/or IT Governance (COBIT/ITIL/CGEIT) are preferable.
Experience:
Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects, preferably in warehouse management, supply chain, or ERP systems.
Experience managing full project lifecycles, from initiation through to deployment and post-implementation support.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules, particularly in integration and configuration.
Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, including internal teams and external partners.
Knowledge of supply chain and warehouse management best practices and how they integrate with ERP systems.
Minimum experience of 10+ years holding a similar role within the last 3 years.
Minimum of 10+ years in diverse application landscapes.
Automotive domain experience is preferable.
Extensive project execution and delivery experience across multiple platforms and architectures.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
Experience of working with and integration flows with major ERPs is essential.
Experience with large scale multi-platform projects.
Ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
