Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Develops and monitors operating and grant budgets; monitors and oversees expenditures.
  2. Prepares daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual reports to Fiker Institute HQ; maintains and analyzes operating statistics; updates programs to continually improve services.
  3. Develops plans for the future growth of the space, including new programs and services.
  4. Oversees acquisition of new materials including books and databases.
  5. Oversees, coordinates, and organizes high-level events.
  6. Acts as the face of the space and ensures visitors are welcomed.
  7. Leads the management of projects for all initiatives of the event space.
  8. Management responsibilities include overseeing staff including the associate, assistant, and operation staff (4+ people reporting to the Project Manager).
  9. Handles administrative tasks including staff shifts and all day-to-day management and operations of the staff and space.
  10. Performs any other venue-related tasks as they arise and are required by HQ.
