This position sits in our Global Travel Retail business (GTR). The role is under Marketing direction of GIBU (Gulf & India Business Unit) and reports to Head of Customer Marketing. It is a one-year contract Project Manager based in Dubai to manage AIRPORTS execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing project, oversee design, execute permanent merchandising and visibility & activations in retail stores – Product / Brand Units :
  • Permanent Merchandising: Oversee design guidelines adherence, technical drawings (CAD) supervision, execution & regular maintenance of Permanent Visibility & Merchandising footprint.
  • Vendor & Agency Management: Manage multiple marketing agencies, production companies and procurement vendors adhering to business processes, purchasing policies and internal code of conduct requirements.
  • Project Management: Develop project trackers, timelines and adherence of the same with regular updates to key stakeholders. Bridge project between design agency, production company, PR Marketing team and Retailers (Airport Retailers).
  • Activations: Adapt retail designs to local spaces, asset sourcing and assurance of excellence in production to match set design plans.

Key Competencies and Experiences

  • Project Manager with Retail experience: Understanding of Retail Store environment and technical – Design, Production and Execution.
  • Have managed production of units, merchandising and activations, preferably production experience with an advertising or merchandising agency.
  • Around 6-8 years’ experience including Project Management and production, airport execution experience preferred.
  • Prior multinational companies and FMCG / Auto / Retail / Luxury exposure is preferable.
  • Strong executional ability for merchandising and activation.
  • Willingness to travel within Gulf & India.
  • Budget management.
  • Excellent relationship management skills to manage customers.
  • English is a must; mastery of another local language is a plus.
