Job description

My client is a global communications agency with a strong focus on experiential marketing. With offices in over 17 locations around the globe, they currently employ over 400 talented individuals.
They are looking to recruit an Account/Project Manager who is mid-senior level. You must have previous automotive experience, be a creative thinker, and able to develop concepts for clients. You will be responsible for the professional leadership of a project team whilst supporting and assisting the Group Head in matters relating to project management and client support.

Responsibilities:

  1. Professional leadership of the project team and crew
  2. To collaborate on the development and communication of goals and strategies
  3. Organisation and supervision of workflows within the group
  4. Targeted knowledge dissemination
  5. Acting as a role model
  6. Induction and integration of new employees
  7. Promotion of employee identification
  8. Promotion and support of team collaboration
  9. Mediation and active support in the resolution of conflicts within the group
  10. Staff motivation
  11. General personnel support

Project Management:
  1. Creation of concepts, new stimuli, and ideas along with assessment of their content in the context of client requirements
  2. If necessary, management of project finances, in particular, advance payments and real-time invoicing to the client and suppliers
  3. Administration of client budgets in close cooperation with the client
  4. Pre & post event logistical planning including onsite implementation
  5. Regular reporting to the Group Head on the project status and logistical and supplier progress
  6. Development of schedules of installation, transportation, and dismantling of venue equipment
  7. Creation and/or verification of project plans / project costings
  8. Organisation and/or implementation of client presentations

Client Management:
  1. The implementation of all necessary accommodation, travel plans including; local travel, flights, and all required visas as the project requires
  2. The organisation and attendance of all meetings relating to logistical solutions
  3. Guest handling and its workforce
  4. Proactive project support
  5. Communication of information to team members
  6. Research of client details/requirements

Client Support:
  1. Provision of support to existing client base
  2. First point of contact for clients in operational sector
  3. Responsibility for client database

Decision-Making Authority:
  1. Drawing-up of cost proposals in coordination with the Group Head
  2. Good use of professional judgement in the context of regular project management
  3. Management of client budgets
  4. Creation of concepts and their presentation to the client, in coordination with the Group Head

Skills & Abilities:
  1. University degree or similar qualification (specialist college, BAW, etc.)
  2. At least two years’ professional experience in a similar role
  3. Conceptual skills
  4. Experience of project management
  5. Confident delivery of presentations
  6. The ability to recognise and address client needs
  7. Immaculate appearance
  8. Keen team player
  9. Exceptional communication skills
  10. Previous automotive experience is a must
