Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the projects by ensuring the technical, schedule, and financial goals of the project as set out by the Management and the Terms & Conditions of the contract.
Put into force and install the site regulations and measure all personnel discipline.
Meet the requirements of the contracts in terms of scope, performance, schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
Be responsible for risk management in all aspects of the project from cost estimation during tendering to technical limitations, site constraints, and mitigation of the same.
Report to the management at agreed intervals based predominantly on the site.
Coordinate any design necessary for the project execution.
Approve the issue of all important commercial, administrative, or technical documents and correspondence with clients/consultants in line with the company guidelines.
Manage project performance and administration activities including planning, scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, and accounting.
Follow up and monitor changed orders, additional works, variations, and claims in accordance with the established procedure of the contract. Provide assistance in identifying claims and variations.
Analyze work performed daily, weekly, monthly, and assess consequences where needed.
Lead all contractual negotiations with potential sub-contractors and suppliers.
Execute the handing/taking over procedure of the projects with the clients’ representatives within the assigned schedule.
Follow up the acceptance of all invoices.
Control costs during the project period by comparing and documenting the budget vs. the actual cost on a monthly basis.
Delegate and organize the project activities.
Develop and implement work schedules, method statements, and all other requirements to optimize the project execution process.
Implement and maintain complete QA/QC related documents, material submittals, and specifications, including clarification and coordination meetings with sub-contractors and suppliers.
Coordinate with other divisions regarding resources.
Prepare pre and post contract documentation for commercial awareness of contractual issues.
Approach potential clients for further project acquisition.
Lead the tender process as per company guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a reputed university.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing RTA - Infrastructure and Road Bridges Projects.
