Project Management Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Direct and manage an EPC project (multiple EPC Packages) in a manner that achieves project requirements for safety, quality, engineering, schedule, construction, and cost management.
2. Ensure adherence to the project and corporate Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures and support a safe working environment.
3. Ensure compliance with Company's objectives, requirements, priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations and guidelines provided by Company from time to time.
4. Take necessary corrective action to align the project back on track in case of deviations from plans (cost, schedule, quality, HSE, performance, operability, maintainability, etc.).
5. Minimize as much as possible the change orders/variations and mitigate disputes with contractors.
6. Prepare, supervise, and approve the development of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) from a construction point of view, ensuring Lessons Learned are properly documented throughout the project life cycle, including Project Close-out.
7. Liaise and coordinate with Project Engineering Team Leader, Procurement Engineer, Interface Engineer, Safety Advisor, Quality Engineer, Discipline Engineers, Subcontractors, Lead Project Control Engineer, Fabrication Engineer, Construction Engineers, and Hook-up Engineers.
8. Responsible for the implementation of the scope of work related to construction/fabrication, pre-commissioning, load-out, and offshore installation hook-up and commissioning of the facilities in conformance with project specifications and the approved Project Schedule.
9. Seek guidance from the Project Manager / Project Division Head as appropriate before making critical and important decisions.
10. Monitor day-to-day activities through weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress meetings with Subcontractors and Vendors to facilitate achievement of targets. Identify slippages and backlogs, and formulate action plans to keep the project on schedule.
11. Identify project risks and recommend ways to mitigate them.
12. Provide technical and commercial inputs and review contract/tendering documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements; participate and direct the preliminary planning stages as necessary.
13. Review and approve Heavy lift and load-out procedures; participate in the preparation and execution of operations.
14. Participate in the preparation of construction-related workshops, method statements, risk assessments, and HSE workshops.
15. Review, optimize, and approve the work of mobilization teams to ensure all necessary activities are covered with actions properly assigned, timescales agreed, and relevant parties properly briefed with communication.
16. Execute the project in line with the delivery schedule, contract specifications, and conditions.
17. Plan shutdowns in coordination with COMPANY's overall shutdown.
18. Develop project construction management organization chart and mobilization schedule.
19. Promote an environment for building team morale and fostering consent within the team.
