Responsible for implementation of all aspects of project finance for clinical research activities including building project billing forecasts, billing, management of transactions, payment reconciliation and allocation. Manage & analyze project budgets, utilization, scope and risks. Develop and follow workflows. Timely execution of monthly/yearly accountancy closure, financial reports, audits.
Responsibilities:
Providing financial analysis and support for projects within Research organization.
Maintaining and updating rate sets, revenue plans, billing plans, milestones, contract data, payment schedules and expense forecast.
Work closely with project managers and finance teams to evaluate the financial feasibility of projects, assess risks, and help develop financial strategies to ensure project completion meets/exceeds its EBITDA target.
Conducting financial analysis for potential projects, including evaluating revenue projections, costs, and return on investment.
Assisting in the development of project budgets and financial models.
Performing risk analysis and identifying potential financial risks associated with projects.
Collaborating with project managers to track project expenses and ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
Providing strategic financial guidance to project teams to help mitigate risks and maximize project profitability.
Monitoring project financial performance and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance to the monthly/quarterly/half yearly and annual account closing commitments.
Developing financial reports and presentations for senior management.
Participating in project meetings and providing financial insights and recommendations.
Keeping up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in project finance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Additional certifications such as CFA or CPA is a plus.
5+ years of experience.
Strong background in finance, financial analysis, and project management.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
