Project Estimator - F&B - Fitouts

Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under it's umbrella – SALT, Switch, Parker's, Grind, Somewhere and Public.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Estimator for our Projects department.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare BOQ and Tender pack
2. Tender analysis report for Approvals
3. Prepares RFQ and issues to vendor
4. RFQ analysis report
5. Prequalification of contractors & vendors
6. Coordinate for the registration of suppliers
7. Issue RFI to contractors upon coordination with PM's
8. Preparation of Bill of Quantities
9. Estimating and cost control
10. Interpreting specifications, price tenders, and preparation of contract documents
11. Interpreting and checking drawings, tender documents, quantities and estimates
12. Managing and supervising Tender / Quantity Surveyor Department and planning and programming workload

Job Skills And Qualifications

Proven 4-5 years in Hospitality interiors, Fit outs and Restaurant Projects, or fit-out and joinery refurbishments experience as Estimator or similar role

Aptitude in understanding the projects and its requirements

Determine key variables for cost and other estimates

Gather first-hand information from sites, warehouses or other avenues

Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production timeline
