Project Engineer – Solar

Job Purpose:

The Project Engineer ensures the successful execution of solar projects, managing technical aspects, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver efficient solar energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Technical Coordination: Oversee site assessments, design integration, and compliance with industry standards.
• Permits & Procurement: Secure approvals and coordinate material procurement and subcontractor selection.
• Construction & Installation: Supervise installation and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct inspections and performance testing for system functionality.
• Risk & Cost Management: Identify potential risks, control costs, and track project expenses.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate project updates and collaborate with clients, authorities, and internal teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Experience: 3-4 years in solar project/site management (commercial, industrial).
• Technical Knowledge: Solar systems (panels, inverters, batteries), project management, electrical safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, technical proficiency, teamwork, and project planning.
