Project Engineer PV Systems ABU DHABI

Reporting To: Team Leader PV

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Development & Support

   • Assist in managing solar projects under the direction of the Project Manager.
   • Contribute to technical due diligence, EPC tendering, PPA agreement development, design vetting, energy yield modeling, feasibility studies, and other technical aspects.
   • Support asset performance optimization, conceptual design, and master planning efforts.

2. Project Execution

   • Monitor project progress and prepare weekly status reports.
   • Ensure project deliverables align with schedules and client requirements.
   • Interpret client needs and communicate effectively with project participants to provide technical support.

3. Collaboration & Communication

   • Attend internal and external project meetings, including HSE workshops and design reviews.
   • Assist in preparing Minutes of Meeting and participate in pre-startup and project review sessions.
   • Cooperate closely with Project Managers and other team members to provide assistance.

4. Compliance & Technical Contributions

   • Monitor compliance with applicable codes, standards, QA/QC policies, and performance specifications.
   • Identify and address technical challenges, seeking guidance when necessary.
   • Review and refine technical proposals to ensure project viability.

5. Process Improvement & Reporting

   • Evaluate, prioritize, and organize workload to meet schedules.
   • Provide input during project implementation and seek opportunities to optimize processes.
   • Report project progress weekly to management and contribute to presentations.

6. Training & Compliance

   • Attend company-organized training sessions as required.
   • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards as outlined in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

Qualifications :

Experience & Qualifications

1. Technical Experience

   • At least 3 years in engineering or consulting roles with a focus on solar projects.

2. Education

   • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.

3. Languages

   • Fluency in written and verbal English and Arabic is mandatory.
