Job Description

• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions, facilitating accurate assessments and effective solutions for HVAC installations.
• Prepare detailed project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports, to communicate design intent and project progress.
• Manage project timelines and budgets by tracking progress, coordinating schedules, and controlling expenses to meet client expectations.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct performance testing and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, providing timely solutions to any issues that arise during operation.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment and address any project concerns.
• Provide training and support to maintenance teams, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to operate and maintain HVAC systems effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge.
• Professional certification in HVAC design or project management (e.g., LEED, PMP) is highly desirable to demonstrate expertise.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in HVAC project engineering, showcasing a proven track record in the field.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and national building codes and standards to ensure compliance in all projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus to facilitate diverse team interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills to identify challenges and develop effective solutions promptly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Physically able to navigate construction sites and conduct field assessments, ensuring thorough evaluations of HVAC installations.
