PROJECT ENGINEER/OPERATIONS MANAGER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF PROJECT ENGINEER/OPERATIONS MANAGER:

Worked in a Steel Structure Fabrication zone in cast steel fabricating gates, grills, balconies, staircases, parabolas, fixed panels & all steel related fabrications. Installations & Maintenance: All kinds of Steel Structure Fabrication, Steel Fabrication, and Cast Steel installation and production work. Worked in rolling shutters, car parking sheds, and overhead doors fabrication and installation. Handling the steel industrial shed from planning & estimation to complete installation. Worked as a key person in Betomatic with authorizations in Purchasing, HR & Estimation divisions. Production manager of steel structure fabrication zone for fabrication of steel cast gates, staircases, fences, and all kinds of steel fabrication related to steel plants. Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, planning, and scheduling major shutdowns. Generation of daily inspection, service, and maintenance reports to submit to the general manager. Review shop drawings given by the design consultant and estimate quantities. Follow up on steel work at the site and supervise contractors to carry out the work as planned. Control manpower, machinery, materials, and tools at the workshop and all projects. Coordinate with contractors for projects' structural and architectural drawings. Coordinate with civil and electrical departments to resolve issues. Inspect indented and received materials required for the project. Complete knowledge in Steel Structure and Steel Fabrication works. Installation of steel sheds and industrial sheds, and steel barrier systems. Fabrication, installation & maintenance of steel and rolling shutters. Monitor and update day-to-day project activities to the project head. Coordinate with QA/QC department and design department for work inspection. Manpower allocation & prepare requests for information (RFI). Responsible for developing Steel structural and Steel Divisions. Pricing for structural and non-structural steel fabrication jobs. Implement corrective and preventive actions in Progress Plan. Responsible for Engineering and Steel Structural Design. Supervise mechanical activities in steel production. Handle a steel team size of a maximum of 45 members. Handle & follow-ups with project supervisors. Report progress to the Project Manager. Manpower allocation & material management. Supervise steel installation activities. Execute Preventive Maintenance work. Perform gas cutting and welding tasks.
