Project Engineer - Civil

This role supports the Head of Projects in overseeing operations, project planning, and decision-making, leveraging their engineering expertise to provide technical insights. Responsibilities include managing teams, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and assisting with strategic planning. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to bridge technical and managerial functions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support with coordination and delivery of the project on time to the required quality standards, and within the set budget from the time it is awarded for execution.
• Provide technical and management support, and feedback on all construction activities.
• Monitor construction progress against approved technical documentation and project execution plan including, but not limited to compliance with design and specifications, quality control and assurance, HSE, codes, industry standards and best practice.
• Monitor and support the contract administration, protecting the company's rights and obligations under the contracts while complying with internal company procedures for all contractual processes.
• Provide value engineering solutions as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, constructions management (Civil).
• Minimum 3-6 years industry experience ideally in UAE / MENA.
• Professional body qualifications/memberships are supported and desirable (PMP, PMI, MRICS, MCIOB etc).
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
