Project Engineer – Chemical Injection Skids & Process Packages

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of Chemical Injection Skids and Process Package projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong expertise in pump selection, instrument selection, control logic, and structural calculations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling technical proposals, reviewing and negotiating contract terms, and coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution: Develop project schedules, define milestones, allocate resources, and ensure project objectives are met within budget and timelines.
2. Technical Leadership: Lead pump selection, instrumentation design, control logic implementation, and structural calculations to meet project specifications.
3. Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
4. Contract Review & Negotiation: Analyze terms and conditions, assess project risks, and lead contract negotiations to secure favorable agreements.
5. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
6. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and project execution.
7. Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve technical and commercial challenges.
8. Financial & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
9. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project records, prepare status reports, and present updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. 10 to 15 years of experience in project management, specifically in Chemical Injection Skids and Process Packages within the Middle East market.
3. Strong technical expertise in pump selection, instrumentation, control logic, and structural calculations.
4. Proven experience in proposal preparation, contract review, and negotiation.
5. In-depth understanding of engineering standards, industry regulations, and project execution methodologies.
6. Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
7. Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools.
8. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
10. Must be ready to join within 30 days of the offer letter.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
2. Experience working with EPC contractors and end-users in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or water treatment sectors.
