Project Engineer- 12 Months Contract

Position is fully based in Northern Emirates Projects

The job holder will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and execution of mosque construction projects. This position requires expertise in mosque architecture, construction techniques, cultural sensitivities, and ensuring compliance with local guidelines. The engineer will collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality and culturally appropriate structures

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient execution.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and religious authorities to align construction with community and Islamic requirements.

• Design Compliance: Ensure mosque designs integrate both traditional and modern architectural elements while meeting Islamic guidelines.

• Regulatory & Code Adherence: Review and approve construction plans to ensure compliance with local building codes and Islamic architectural standards.

• Site Supervision: Oversee construction teams, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to specifications.

• Quality Control: Implement and maintain high-quality construction standards through regular inspections and compliance checks.

• Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and address on-site hazards to maintain a secure working environment.

• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve construction challenges, technical issues, and stakeholder concerns promptly. • Sustainability Integration: Incorporate energy-efficient solutions like solar panels and water conservation systems into mosque designs.

• Technical Support: Interpret engineering designs, provide recommendations, and ensure specifications are met.

• Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, report updates, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation.

• Client & Consultant Communication: Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, addressing queries and providing updates.

• Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and subcontractors to streamline project execution.

• Project Meetings & Insights: Participate in meetings, offering technical expertise and strategic recommendations.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The position requires full-time work at Ras Al Khaimah, with 100% on-site presence

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 7 years of site experience
• Nature of Experience: Proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on religious or cultural buildings. Demonstrated expertise in mosque construction is highly preferred.
• Language Skills: Proficient in Arabic & English

• Technical Competencies: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and building codes applicable to educational facilities.
