Project Engineer

What you will do:
The Project Engineer is a key role directly reporting to the Project Manager for the Middle East region. You will be based in Dubai and will be a part of a growing team, responsible for driving the growth of business for Security Systems. You will support the project management team on designing and executing projects. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with the pre-sales/estimation.

How you will do it:
As an Experienced Project Engineer, you need to have a good knowledge in designing and project execution of physical security systems solutions involving:

1. Access control/CCTV
2. Intercom
3. Network and associated peripherals

You will carry out site surveys for the assigned territory and involve subcontractors for installation works.
As a Project Engineer, you will prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned engineering projects. You will:

1. Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
2. Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements, representing them in the field.

What we look for:

• Required Bachelor Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Similar Discipline from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 6-8 years project engineering experience in the execution of low voltage physical security systems in the UAE.
• Comprehensive knowledge of large physical security systems including Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Gate Barrier, Intrusion Systems, etc.
• Good interpersonal, negotiation, team management, and influencing skills.
• Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking and planning, project costing and execution skills.
• Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost-effective solutions.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use.
• Clear understanding of contractual documents/obligations and preparation of official communications with clients/vendors.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
