Project Engineer

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years experience in UAE for standard level or 5 years of home country experience for beginner level
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil / Electrical)
- Sound mathematical, scientific and IT skills.
- The ability to think methodically and to manage jobs.
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets.
- Ability to maintain an overview of entire jobs while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills
- Complete knowledge of relevant legislation
- Commercial awareness and understanding of how your actions can affect profitability of a job.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that all jobs are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
2. Coordinate jobs management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
3. Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
4. Make sure that clients' needs are met as jobs evolve.
5. Analyse risks and opportunities.
6. Oversee jobs procurement management.
7. Monitor jobs progress and handle any issues that arise.
8. Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
9. Assist in preparation and implementation of Jobs Execution Plan (PEP).
10. Attend Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client) and assist in preparation of Minutes of Meetings.
11. Monitor work in progress and prepare weekly report of the status of each job.
12. Ensure all procedures and calculations are submitted to the client for review and approval.
13. Coordinate materials and assist in logistics, its shipment and receipt at the construction site.
14. Coordinate with all jobs related personnel on day-to-day activities.
15. Check progress of work activities, procurement, and operations to ensure timely completion of the jobs.
16. Provide full support as required by the Management and Clients for all jobs.
