Looking for a Project Director for our client who is responsible for overseeing and managing multimillion USD T24/TCB implementation projects. They serve as the escalation point for issues outside the Project Manager's scope and participate in project steering committees. Additionally, they coordinate project activities, acquire necessary resources, and resolve conflicts that may arise between clients and the project team. The Project Director provides support to Project Managers, monitors project progress, and communicates with senior management to address any project-related issues.
Opportunities:
Provide support to Project Managers to ensure coordination of project phases
Ensure Temenos quality standards are applied in project implementations
Prepare, agree, and obtain signoff on project definitions
Acquire necessary resources from Temenos clients or external suppliers for project completion
Guide and direct Project Managers
Monitor project progress against plan and address any shortfalls
Escalate unresolved issues within Temenos for resolution
Coordinate project-related activities between various departments and the client
Liaise with Temenos Senior Management on project/client issues
Supply forecasts/budgets to Temenos Senior Management in a timely manner
Act as a line manager to Project Managers/team members
Participate in presales/sales activities to assess feasibility of contractual undertakings
Perform other duties as required
Required Skills:
Minimum 20 years of information systems project management experience in a banking environment
Experience managing multimillion dollar core banking transformation projects as a project/program director
Familiarity with managing project financials (e.g., project cost revenue forecast)
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Temenos Implementation methodology
Ability to assess implications of banking and technology trends
Previous experience as a Project/Implementation Manager on client sites with IT technical and leadership qualities
Ability to influence others at all levels and prioritize issues effectively
Certification such as PMI or Temenos Project Management certification (or willingness to acquire certification)
Experience managing offshore development teams
Flexibility for travel
Excellent leadership and conflict management skills
