Job Description: Planning Engineer (Infrastructures)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Engineer (Infrastructures) to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for planning/scheduling and invoicing activities related to infrastructure projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Prepare high-level and detailed master project schedules for design and construction projects.
2. Validation of compatibility of assigned resources for timely completion of the project.
3. Generation of monthly cash projection and resources histograms.
4. Preparation of consolidated report on design and construction projects.
5. Identify the potential areas of delay, highlight the critical events, and suggest/provide mitigation measures to minimize those delays during progress meetings.
6. Revise the internal schedule as per conclusions, modifications, or other alternatives to be taken by the management team and identify the impact on the internal schedule as a result of these actions/deficiencies.
7. Updating schedule and preparation of reports (weekly).
8. Preparation of monthly progress reports.
9. Participate in project progress meetings at the site.
10. Compilation of correspondences, drawings, and other contemporaneous records with coordination of project teams to prepare and analyze Extension of time claim.
11. Assessment of the contractor's claim and finalization of the Engineer's determination report.
12. Support the project manager in preparing the Engineer's billing and invoicing.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction project management from a recognized institution.
2. Minimum 7+ years of experience in planning and scheduling both engineering and construction activities, mainly in infrastructure projects.
3. Proficiency in scheduling software used in the Project Controls Department, particularly P6.
4. Proficiency in reporting using Power BI, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
