Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) for new projects to ensure consistency with the Billings Schedule and Earned Value reporting requirements.
  2. Updating regional dashboards for schedule and cost information; sending out reports to the Project Managers (PMs) with appropriate analysis.
  3. Assisting Project Managers in the variation set-up documents through Jacobs’ internal financial system.
  4. Developing project schedules to align with contract requirements.
  5. Creating all Estimate At Completions (EAC), including updates to the revenue budget, ensuring they are accurate and reflective of reality.
  6. Preparing, analyzing, and publishing Earned Value progress reports.
  7. Monitoring billings, accounts receivable, and unbilled items on the portfolio and escalating problem areas.
  8. Attending project reviews and preparing related reports to be presented as required.
  9. Maintaining the project-level Risk Register and updating it regularly.
  10. Ensuring project compliance activities such as Revenue Recognition and Contingency Management are completed as per the specified schedule.
  11. Ensuring all projects within the portfolio are close-out appropriately as per the Project Close-out Checklist.
  12. Preparing and issuing internal and client weekly and monthly project status reports.
