Project Control- Scheduler

Please note this position is based in the Middle East- Saudi Arabia .

Job Description :

We are seeking experienced Project Control – Schedulers to develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules for large-scale industrial projects . The ideal candidates will have extensive experience with Primavera P6, MS Project , and project control methodologies to ensure on-time and cost-effective project delivery .

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules for large-scale projects , ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines .
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor and analyze project progress , identifying potential delays, risks, and opportunities for schedule optimization.
• Provide regular schedule updates, reports, and forecasts to project teams and senior management.
• Integrate multiple project schedules into a master schedule , ensuring consistency and accuracy across all workstreams.
• Utilize advanced scheduling tools and frameworks to support project planning, resource allocation, and critical path analysis .
• Support the development and implementation of project control processes and tools to improve scheduling efficiency and accuracy .
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time project delivery .

Requirements :

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or a related field .
• Project management experience and PMP (Project Management Professional) certification are mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling frameworks, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Agile, Critical Path Method ).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex project data .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills .
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for resource planning and cost control .
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail .

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in the oil & gas, construction, or energy sectors .
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project control techniques .
• Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies .
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field .
