Project Architect

We are looking for an experienced Project Architect to oversee architectural and finishing works for construction projects. The role involves inspection, supervision, and ensuring compliance with specifications, building codes, and industry regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong structural knowledge, coordination skills, and experience managing construction projects from design to execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure architectural and finishing works are executed as per project specifications and approved drawings.
2. Supervise integrated site work and verify execution aligns with budget and project timelines.
3. Conduct inspections to assess structural soundness and compliance with regulatory standards.
4. Review and manage inspection requests while maintaining accurate project logs.
5. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
6. Monitor project progress and take corrective action to keep work on schedule.
7. Ensure the availability of required construction materials and equipment for smooth operations.
8. Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to project method statements.
9. Oversee all construction activities in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management standards.
10. Recommend improvements to optimize departmental procedures and project workflows.
11. Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation of inspections and site observations.
12. Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and architectural site supervision.
3. Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, structural works, and finishing materials.
4. Experience in piling works, post-tension slabs, precast walls, and structural steelwork.
5. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Familiarity with UAE construction codes and regulatory requirements.
