General Purpose of Role
- Provides administrative support in a variety of functions to an individual, team, department, or other group in an organization.
- Collects, reviews and analyzes data, and prepares reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials.
- Responds to or routes routine inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence or other messaging.
- Schedules and coordinates meetings, travel, and other group activities.
- Has basic word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software skills.
- Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
- Intermediate level support position responsible for performing semi-routine work activities with minimal instruction.
- May require proficient use of data entry/retrieval and calculating and may also involve the use of complicated decimals/fractions and mathematical formulas.
Decision Making
- Decisions follow established routines and standing instructions, which may vary significantly, representing somewhat diversified procedures and precedents.
- Ability to consider the most appropriate procedure or precedent to follow and make discriminating choices among learned things.
- Recognizes problems and is able to recommend solutions from a set of limited options based on prior experience with similar situations.
Supervision Received
- Under general supervision, work may be varied and somewhat difficult but limited in scope. Ability to recommend optional theories and solutions is limited.
- Supervision Authority: Has no direct or indirect reports and does not assign work to anyone.
Communication
- Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts, developing the ability to persuade and influence others as needed.
Systems, Processes & Tools
- Intermediate understanding of systems or other tools related to field.
Typical Qualifications
- Secondary school education or equivalent and relevant years of experience.

- Graduation in any discipline.
