Project Accountant

We are hiring a Project Accountant for our client in RAK.

Job Purpose

The Project Accountant will provide support to the Project Finance Manager in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of specific projects within the organization. This role requires great attention to detail and the ability to dive deep where variations/deviations are observed particularly in areas such as budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external financial requirements. The role is crucial for ensuring that projects accounting and documentation is accurate, timely, and aligned with accounting standards.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Undergraduate degree and/ or Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or a relevant subject
2. A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred) would be considered an asset

Minimum Experience/Skills

1. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a relevant field and a minimum of 2 years of working experience in the Middle East region
2. Ideal candidate would be a qualified accountant with strong experience in the hospitality sector (hotels and restaurants) at a senior accountant level
3. Past experience working with an international hotel chain would be considered an advantage
