Project Accountant
Job description
Responsibilities
- Standard accounting procedures (payrolls, posting, etc.)
- Preparing financial statements
- Budget process & preparing draft budgets
- Details of sub-contracts & processing payments according to contract terms and conditions
- Developing tax structures & strategies for overseas projects
- Monthly project financial reports
- Activities relating to bank transactions (letters of credit, transfer of funds, etc.)
- Journalizing invoices and credit notes
- Payments, receipt of receivables, and carrying out monthly reconciliation
- Compliance in accordance with HSE standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (ACCA & CA will be an advantage)
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
