Program Director

Job Responsibilities

Prepares and delivers reports to operational leadership outlining progress toward meeting annual goals and objectives, including performance related to finance, clinical practice, quality, safety, marketing, and human resources.

Develops Magnet dashboards and shares them with CNO and Nursing Leadership Team on a monthly basis.

Seeks experiences to advance one's professional skills and knowledge. Remains up-to-date on best practices and incorporates them into Magnet and Nursing Excellence practices and programs.

Oversees and works with teams for audit recommendations and is accountable for audit results and improvements.

Facilitates reporting of incidents occurring within the organization by proper coordination and facilitating corrective action taken.

Evaluates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.

Create awareness of regulatory requirements and monitor compliance.

Reports incidents as appropriate that affect patient and staff safety.
