Lead the curriculum development and modification as a part of the college's ongoing quality improvement and assessment program.
Contribute to the department teaching and assessment of students to ensure that the students have met the required knowledge, skills, and competency of standard.
Lead the community services offered by department faculty.
Provide clinical services through the university clinic/hospitals as needed.
Prepare frequent and annual academic evaluation reports of the department and programs.
Lead research activities of the department including planning, designing, and implementation.
Be actively involved in student advising.
Play a leadership role in achieving college and university mission and vision.
Perform special duties as assigned by the Dean of the college.
Exhibit a high standard of professionalism and ethical behavior in all aspects of personal and professional actions and performance.
Work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, and support staff.
Required Skills
Prospective applicants holding Board (or equivalent) of Family Medicine or Fellowship such as clinical PhD, FRCGP, FANCGP.
At least 10 years' experience in Family Medicine practice.
At least 5 years of teaching undergraduate/postgraduate students.
Diploma / master's degree or demonstrated expertise in medical education will be a credit.
Demonstrated experience in high quality research by getting research grants and at least 10 high quality publications in Q1 journal as first author.
Eligible to practice in UAE.
