As pioneers in global education and research, the School of Mathematical & Computer Sciences seeks to appoint a dynamic, enterprising, and inspiring leader with a passion for excellence in Mathematical or Computer Sciences education and research who will join our leadership team in Dubai and work with colleagues across the University’s global footprint. The successful candidate should be an established academic with proven track record of teaching, research, and leadership related to mathematics or computer science disciplines.
The appointee will be expected to lead both teaching and research operations in their area of specialisation and more broadly across the University. The candidate will also be expected to develop strong links with industry as well as to provide strategic and operational leadership in the areas Mathematics, Actuarial Mathematics & Statistics and Computer Science.
The role will be appointed at the grade of Professor with a salary on the g10 scale commensurate with their academic experience. The role is based at the University’s campus in Dubai. Programmes will be delivered in English and so fluency in English is essential.
