Position Summary: The Production Planner is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing aircraft maintenance documentation in accordance with company and customer procedures, ensuring compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations. The role ensures efficient planning and accurate follow-up of maintenance work packages, maintaining compliance and quality standards throughout the maintenance cycle. Additionally, the Production Planner supports the organization in maintaining procedural adherence, identifies critical maintenance tasks, prepares and orders necessary materials and tools, creates and maintains job cards, collaborates closely with the CAMO organization, and acts as an interim replacement for key management roles within the maintenance organization when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work Package Preparation:
    Prepare detailed work packages aligned with company procedures, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
    Identify critical tasks within maintenance packages, ensuring appropriate prioritization and resource allocation.
    Coordinate closely with maintenance teams, engineering, procurement, and the CAMO organization to ensure accurate documentation and availability of required materials, tools, and resources.
  2. Material and Tool Management:
    Identify, prepare, and order necessary materials and tools to support scheduled maintenance activities.
    Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials and tools, minimizing delays.
  3. Documentation Follow-Up:
    Review and verify completed maintenance documentation to ensure compliance with company and customer procedures and internal quality standards.
    Manage post-maintenance documentation processes, including archiving and updating of technical records and systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility per regulatory requirements.
  4. Job Card Management:
    Create, update, and maintain accurate and comprehensive job cards reflecting current maintenance tasks, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    Ensure job cards are reviewed regularly and reflect real-time operational changes and improvements.
  5. Compliance, Human Factors, and Safety Management:
    Monitor maintenance activities to confirm adherence to company and customer procedures, incorporating human factors and safety management principles in line with regulatory requirements.
    Provide guidance and corrective actions when deviations or discrepancies are identified.
  6. Cross-Functional Support:
    Act as interim cover for management positions during periods of absence or vacancy, ensuring continuity and stability within the maintenance operations.
    Assist in training, mentoring, and guiding personnel in documentation management, procedural compliance, and regulatory awareness.
  7. Quality Coordination and Continuous Improvement:
    Collaborate closely with the Quality Department to address findings from internal audits and proactively resolve quality issues.
    Proactively identify and recommend improvements to planning processes, documentation procedures, and compliance controls.
    Support audits and inspections, addressing findings effectively and implementing necessary corrective measures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in aviation maintenance or production planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of company and customer procedures, EASA Part-145 regulations, and associated documentation requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and adapt quickly to operational demands.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development to maintain regulatory and procedural awareness.

Reporting Structure: The Production Planner reports to the Maintenance Production Manager or equivalent management position as designated by the organization.
