Production Manager/Director

Production Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery.
2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality, and logistics, to ensure smooth production operations.
3. Plan and manage production workflows, including material requirements, labor allocation, and equipment utilization.

Inventory Management

1. Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
2. Implement inventory management systems to minimize waste, reduce costs, and optimize inventory levels.

Quality Control

1. Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
2. Collaborate with quality team to implement quality control measures and resolve quality issues.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

1. Track and analyze production performance metrics, including yield, efficiency, and productivity.
2. Provide regular reports to management on production performance, inventory levels, and quality metrics.

Process Improvement

1. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
2. Collaborate with the production team to implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Food Technology).
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, or a related field.

Skills and Knowledge

1. Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and quality control principles.
2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with production planning software (e.g., MRP, ERP).
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
