Are you a seasoned professional in the manufacturing industry with specialized expertise in bean production processes?
About the Role
As a Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring optimal performance across maintenance, production, quality control, planning, and cost management. You will lead a dynamic team, foster a culture of safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
- Streamline processes with ERP improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards.
- Lead preventive and total productive maintenance programs to maximize machine utilization.
Quality & Compliance:
- Empower the quality team to uphold product safety and regulatory compliance.
- Address and resolve nonconformities swiftly and effectively.
Team & Performance Management:
- Hire, train, and develop a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Conduct performance reviews and set clear employee goals.
Strategic Planning & Coordination:
- Develop and implement short- and long-term capital investment plans.
- Align operational goals through regular meetings with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Manage costs related to materials, labor, and energy.
- Monitor KPIs to track and enhance plant performance.
- Innovate and improve processes within production, quality, and maintenance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the facility.
Senior Management Contribution:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape company strategy and culture.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of success in plant management, particularly in food manufacturing for bean production.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in food manufacturing and plant operations.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of GMPs, ISO 22000, HACCP, and OHSAS regulations.
- Expertise in methodologies like TPM, TQM, PV, and EMP.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Arabic speaking is preferred but not a necessity
