Production Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager with 10 to 15 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily production operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Develop and implement production schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering, to optimize production processes.
4. Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
6. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards, promoting a culture of safety among team members.
7. Train, mentor, and lead production staff, fostering professional growth and development within the team.
8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
9. Maintain inventory levels and manage resources to minimize waste and reduce production costs.
10. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high-quality output aligned with customer specifications.
11. Liaise with external vendors and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 10 to 15 years of experience in a production management role, preferably within [Industry-specific experience if applicable].
3. Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing Certificate.
4. Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and inventory management.
