Job Description
Review electrical schematics, diagrams, and control panel designs to ensure they are in line with client specifications and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with the client to ensure manufacturability of the control panel.
Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to meet delivery deadlines.
Oversee the assembly of control panels, ensuring that wiring, components, and enclosures are assembled as per the approved design and quality standards.
Supervise and guide Panel Assembly lead and technicians during the production process, providing technical support when required.
Ensure electrical and functional testing of control panels, troubleshoot issues, and correct defects.
Coordinate the inspection of final products to verify adherence to client specifications and internal quality standards.
Prepare detailed production reports, including status updates, and production timelines.
Track and support the timely issuance of invoices, addressing any discrepancies or adjustments in coordination with the finance/operations department.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.
Troubleshoot any technical or mechanical issues that arise during the production process and resolve them promptly.
Work closely with other departments (operations, procurement, logistics, and quality) to ensure smooth coordination of the production process.
Provide technical guidance and training to production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety standards.
Maintain open communication with clients regarding production progress, timelines, and any technical queries.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations during the production process.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with significant experience in control panel assembly/integration.
Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in the manufacturing or assembly of automation/electrical control panels.
Hands-on experience with control panel assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, relays, circuit breakers, and other control devices.
Familiarity with electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeter, meggers).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality production standards.
