Job Description

• Should have the experience in the production of Cable Management Systems including Cable Trays, Cable Ladders, Cable Trunkings, Strut Metal Framing Systems & the fittings.
• Plan in coordination with the Planning Engineer cutting list prioritization, raw materials required, and have overall understanding of customer requirements and delivery dates expected.
• Receive the job cards, award the work order & release to the factory floor section-wise.
• To manage the material availability against the Job Card & cross check out the old stock levels.
• Raise the internal purchase request (IPR) against Job Card.
• Monitor day-to-day production status, optimize resource allocation such as manpower and machines as per the Job cards received, prioritize and schedule production processes and prioritize the “CNC” Program with Computer programmers.
• Coordinate with estimation department and engineering department for product-related issues.
• To manage workforce efficiently & guide them through training & leadership qualities.
• To organize the high productivity of the workforce through engineering & communication skills and achieve production target on a daily basis.
• To read the drawings and to interpret them into the production process.
• To manage the workflow of Cable Management Process like Shearing, Punching, Bending, Roll Forming, Welding, Plasma & Production process.
• To work independently to manage the workflow on the production floor & reduce the downtime of the machines.
• To manage the work processes efficiently to achieve higher productivity.
• To manage the machine utilization efficiently to achieve higher productivity.
• To ensure smooth flow of materials to Galvanizing and back, prioritize and schedule the same.
• Work closely with the Operations and Logistic teams.
• To be responsible for machine maintenance & well versed with measuring instruments.
• To work under pressure to achieve the goals of the company.
• Provide leadership and direction to workforce.
• Ensure proper housekeeping by maintaining a clean and safe workplace and should have knowledge of “SAFETY” & Hazard-free Working Surroundings.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Should have min 6-8 years of extensive experience in Cable Management Shop Floor.
• Should have sound knowledge of MS Office.
• Should have sound knowledge of ACAD.
• Should have worked in a similar capacity for min 6-8 years.
