Job description

Purpose:

Execute brand strategy and tactics in field sales performance, effectively manage assigned territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, and solve customer needs to maximize short and long-term sales performance, placing the patient at the center of any efforts and operating within AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed those objectives.
  2. Create a precall plan using SMART objectives and execute a postcall evaluation to continuously improve sales performance.
  3. Effectively handle objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, consistently gaining logical and reasonable calls to action to close on every sales call.
  4. Proactively aspire to serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers.
  5. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
  6. Continuously build understanding of customer needs and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical and sales expertise, and share this market intelligence with the infield team, brand team, and sales manager to achieve alignment and optimize brand strategy and execution.
  7. Differentiating AbbVie's value proposition with health providers assigned and identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical studies.
  • 2 years of experience as a Product Specialist in a Multinational Company.
  • Relevant industry experience, ideally in Immunology or Specialty care TAs.
  • Experience in the UAE market with a strong performance record.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of HCPs and disease area requirements.
  • Good understanding of market challenges and opportunities.
  • Great sense of ethics and integrity.
  • Curiosity and ability to learn and improve.
