Job description

Promoting and selling the company's products to new and existing customers by visiting them regularly. The Product Specialist's tasks also involve performing certain after-sales support functions such as conducting In-Service Training, following up on collections, and maintaining a good relationship with customers. It is essential for the Product Specialist to provide detailed information on various products, programs, or services offered by the company versus those offered by competitors.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform consultative sales methods in prospecting clients by identifying or creating the need for Imdad products and continuously updating all customers on company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.
  2. Apply successful negotiation and sales closure techniques.
  3. Schedule appointments and meet existing and new customers to promote Imdad's products and determine other opportunities.
  4. Perform professional demonstrations or presentations of company products or services while on the customer's site through effective use of the company's sales aids and marketing data.
  5. Provide adequate information about new prospects and clients, including ownership, working physicians, relevant client's equipment, and status, and update the customer database with proper contact details.
  6. Submit weekly reports on sales activities, competitor activities/events, and competitor pricing changes in a timely manner.
  7. Assist in following up on accounts receivables for sales accounts under his/her responsibility.
  8. Maintain excellent customer relationships with key decision-makers, doctors, and key customer's personnel, while working toward enhancing such relations and generating new client business accounts.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical science, biomedical engineering, or any scientific related degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical sales in UAE.
  • Driving License and car.
Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English) is a must.
  • Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to perform well under pressure.
