Product Owner

Alexander Ash Consulting is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join one of our global clients, a leading financial markets infrastructure organization.

Based in Dubai, this role focuses on overseeing and evolving cloud and infrastructure solutions that support the organization's critical operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure services in a highly regulated environment.

Role requirements:

1. Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for cloud and infrastructure services, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Own and manage the product backlog, defining user stories, prioritizing features, and ensuring clear acceptance criteria for development teams.
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other product owners to gather requirements, align priorities, and deliver solutions.
4. Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines short- and long-term goals for cloud and infrastructure services.
5. Work closely with agile teams, participate in sprint ceremonies, and ensure the timely delivery of high-value features.
6. Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improvement in infrastructure services, enhancing reliability, security, and scalability.
7. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the success of cloud and infrastructure products.
8. Identify potential risks related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
9. Represent the voice of the customer (internal and external) in all product discussions, ensuring user needs are met.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

1. Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
2. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to translate technical requirements into business-focused deliverables.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
6. 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
7. Proven experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure solutions (networking, servers, storage).
8. Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with agile tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
