Product Merchandiser Middle East

Position

The Buyer is responsible for the products orders concerning the product categories of his/her Area of Competence for the market under his/her responsibility. The buyer constantly deepens the characteristics of the different markets, flows and the distinguishing features of the clients, through appropriate weekly analysis and through periodical visits of the stores.

Job Responsibilities

Buying

1. Under the supervision of the Buying Manager, he/she is responsible for the products orders and for the definition of product quantities for the product categories of his/her Area of Competence, cooperating with the Retail Planning Function.
2. He/she defines the product orders and the seasonal replenishment for each store as far as the commodities categories under his/her responsibilities are concerned, coherently with the Merchandising and Visual Merchandising guidelines and with the support of the Retail Planning Function.
3. For this particular role we are looking for someone with experience in menswear & lifestyle.

Product Training

1. Under the supervision of the Buying Manager, he/she is in charge of the presentation of the Collection to the Area Managers, to the Visual & Products merchandisers, the Store Managers and the Product Referents, with regards to the pertinent product categories and providing them all the technical and functional information, throughout the year.

Market and Product Analysis

1. The buyer analyses the characteristics of the single markets as far as trends, competitors position and clients features are concerned.
2. He/she steadily cooperates with the stores in order to verify the sales of his/her referent categories, the appropriate presence and presentation of products.
3. He/she steadily monitors the sales trend, coordinating his/her activity with the Buying manager, in order to assure the appropriate presence of products in each store and to maximize the sales performance while optimizing/boosting the sell through.

Visual Merchandising

1. Under the supervision of the Buying manager, he/she cooperates with Visual Merchandising in his/her Area of Competence, ensuring the appropriate presence of product and its rotation between the stores inside and window.

Marketing

1. He/she cooperates with the regional Marketing Team to guarantee the right product for a flawless execution of product related events at store level.

Profile

1. Deep knowledge of fashion and luxury.
2. Passion and high motivation towards the Luxury environment and Loro Pianas Brand and products.
3. Excellent analytical ability and data analysis.
4. Aligned to the Brand identity and detail oriented, with strong coaching and communication skills.
5. Strong Product Knowledge and passion for luxury goods.
6. Strong retail knowledge, at least 3 years experience.
7. Excellent English knowledge and ideally multilingual.
8. Good computer literacy.
9. Good Presentation Skills.
10. Open to travel.
11. Experience in buying for Menswear & Lifestyle a plus.
