Product Manager - Leading IT Solutions Company

Product Manager is required by the leading IT solutions company based in Dubai to focus on product management.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for overall commercial success and profitability of IT Solutions products.
2. Maintain a strong technical knowledge of IT Solutions product offerings, coordinate with R&D regarding product enhancements and modifications, and liaise the marketing activities for his products.
3. Propose the pricing guidelines and support pre-sales activities.
4. Provide inputs for the division’s plans and operational budget.
5. Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, audit, regulatory, risk management, and safety requirements and procedures, especially in respect of IP confidentiality and related risks.
6. Maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness of all processes by ensuring that all the technology needs of the business unit are addressed (in coordination with Corporate IT).
7. Develop a product strategy and business case for each product within her/his portfolio and ensure they meet the strategic objectives of the Company.
8. Responsible for collecting information on customer needs and technology trends in the target sectors and compile a report showcasing a complete understanding of competitor offerings, including pricing and technology trends.
9. Develop an exhaustive SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis for each product to identify necessary improvements.
10. Build and maintain IT Solutions’ product value proposition. Manage product profitability through proposing product price guidelines to the Director of Product Development & Marketing.
11. Evaluate new product development or change requests in terms of added value. Recommend selectively to the Director of Product Development & Marketing any requests for developments and/or enhancements.
12. Educate the client and local partners about the company's IT Software solutions through presentations and marketing materials.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor in Marketing, Product Management, and/or Engineering.
2. Five to eight (5-8) years of relevant experience.
3. IT Industry exposure in the UAE focusing on Government.
4. Willing to travel GCC.
5. Ideally Arabic speaker.
6. Familiar with IT solutions (e-gov, e-customs, e-payments, e-service, or other IT solutions).
