Job description

Headquartered in the UAE and operating across the Middle East, South Asia, Europe and Australia, XA Group revolutionizes the auto industry, not only by introducing pioneering technologies and bespoke customer service, but also creating new revenue streams for the repair market. We are incubating an ambitious R&D initiative spanning integrated hardware and software solutions to solve the most pressing problems in the automotive industry. Our current solutions include towing software, IoT ready repair cabins, damage estimation AI technology and claims negotiation technology.

In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies, research new areas, think out of the box and inspire engineers working for you to do the same. You will create the technological future of the automotive insurance and repair space.


Responsibilities:
  1. Drive the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products and features in the insurance and automotive space.
  2. Oversee all elements of the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, including design, testing, production, and promotion.
  3. Establish a shared vision across the company by building consensus on product priorities.
  4. Develop business models, analyze the competitive landscape, and deliver on growth objectives, including market share, revenue, profit, and ROI.
  5. Partner with development, design, QA, and analytics teams to build software collaboratively and inclusively.
  6. Work closely with XA’s partners and vendors in the insurance and automotive space.
  7. Work with marketing and sales teams to create compelling product messaging and collateral, develop and execute go-to-market plans, including pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies.
  8. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies, to gather insights and feedback.
  9. Communicate product vision, strategy, and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support.
  10. Utilize customer insights, quantitative analysis, and experimentation to inform product decisions.
  11. Develop and monitor data-driven analytics to drive product iterations and improvements.
  12. Exhibit empathy for users, striving to understand and resolve their pain points and ensure products deliver exceptional user experiences and meet customer needs effectively.
  13. Ensure all products comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  14. Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential product risks.
  15. Stay informed about industry regulations and updates, ensuring products remain compliant.
  16. Mentor and guide employees to achieve individual and team objectives, fostering a high-performing team environment.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience as a product manager, with a focus on insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry is a plus.
  • Proven track record of overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies and achieving growth objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with competence in SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Highly effective in cross-functional team management and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in product management tools and software.
  • Owner’s mindset: willing to tackle challenging problems and see them through to resolution.
  • Scrappiness and a can-do attitude: confident in getting things done efficiently.
  • Empathy for users driven to discover and solve user pain points with innovative solutions.
