Job Description

Role: Product Manager - Commercial Cards
Location: Dubai

Role Purpose:

• Assist in management of commercial cards products, portfolio for BBD and WBG segments.
• Formulate and launch Commercial Cards covering BBD Covered / Debit Cards, Corporate Cards.
• Drive Commercial Cards growth for BBD and WBG segments.

KEY METRICS:

• Launch of Corporate card.
• Number of customers onboarded/cards issued and their revenue.
• Drive BBD Debit and Covered Card portfolio.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

• Drive the Corporate Cards requirements through BRD, PPG, SOP and commercialization.
• Work with BBD and WBG teams to drive sales of Corporate Cards and support in meeting relative revenue targets.
• Support in driving the commercialization for the cards business.
• Provide internal sales training relevant on card products to sales teams and frontline channels.
• Develop and plan segment-wise Corporate and Commercial card product customer utilization campaigns.
• Liaise with the group marketing and communication team to develop product marketing material.
• Prepare and plan customer card product pricing.
• Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain relevant card product approvals (across various departments).
• Work with key stakeholders across Cards operations and IT to drive the product rollout (prioritization).
• Manage pre-paid card product program and BIN sponsorship partnerships.
• Work with BBD and WBG/GTB teams to maintain the product collaterals, website and other banking channels.
• Provide product operational support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure necessary controls and functions are in place from both risk and operations perspective for the Commercial Cards Products.
• Assist with customer queries and complaints regarding product offering.
• Assist in reviewing product performance, features and benefits for the Business Banking and WBG Cards Portfolios.
• To take on any projects given by the Head of Cards and deliver within the agreed timescales.
• Develop and maintain detailed up to date knowledge of Commercial Card product in the market.
• Ensure Compliance with bank's processes and procedures.
• Increase business and enhance customer portfolio for the existing Business Banking Cards.
• Launch Commercial/Corporate Cards for BBD and WBG segments.
• Adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Achieve set Business Plan and budgets for the year.
• Develop close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business performance.
• Pre-paid product management to ensure both financial and non-financial objectives are met.
• Adherence to ADIB policy.
• Provide support to Sales Team to ensure targets are met.
• Active management of all significant risks within Card Products.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

• Experience in launching and management of Commercial/Corporate Card product & portfolios in the UAE.
• Knowledge/experience on Commercial Card or Retail card management system.
• Analytical and strategic skills with strong presentation skills.
• Experience with MasterCard or Visa would be an added advantage to the role.
• Be able to demonstrate capabilities in stakeholder management.

Previous experience:

• At least 10 or more years of experience within banking. Card business experience will be preferred.
• Experience in Commercial Card product management.
• Understanding of Market Dynamics including demographic factors, competitor products and services for Commercial Cards.
• Knowledge of Cards market and customer trends affecting this business area.
• Ability to develop business cases based on information and data.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
